Cult of Personality

Hey guys,
So, what is a cult of personality? Well, it actually is how a leader uses mass media to influence the public and give himself a hero like, or something called a larger than life image.
Now, you would find that this generally happens in totalitarian countries. You too would find yourself getting brainwashed together with the general public with propaganda tools this leader uses. Of course, as we have learned in Animal Farm, Stalin is really good at this. Urh, what? Another example? Oh well, another obvious example would be Hitler then. Basically, once again I repeat, most dictators are cult leaders.
Now, as we have been discussing about Stalin and his horrible acts for quite a while now, I should just follow the trend and continue sharing more information about him should'nt I? Now, I just realised that Stalin has had many places and towns named after him and there is even something called a Stalin Prize and a Stalin Peace prize.
How ironic the second prize is. Man, since when was life under Stalin peaceful?
Well, in addiion to the above, Stalin accepted all sorts of titles that to us would seem ridiculous. Now, of course, with all him using all these propaganda tools, naturally the general public would become influenced and thinl that," Wow, leader Stalin is so great." Once again, to us it seems that that is total nonsense. So, there you go, a perfect example of a leader with a cult personality and what influenece this leader as on the general public.
